Campus Climate Survey

Stanford University administered a campus climate survey in the spring of 2015, encouraging all undergraduate and graduate students to participate and provide their perspectives. The survey asked students about their perceptions of campus community, culture and safety as well as their experiences with prohibited sexual conduct.

Results of the survey were issued in Fall 2015. Links to the survey report and related information are available on the Campus Climate Survey page on the Provost’s website.

April 2018 update: With the recommendations of a committee of faculty, students and staff, Provost Persis Drell announced that Stanford will participate in the 2019 campus climate survey to be administered by the Association of American Universities (AAU). More information will be forthcoming during the 2018-19 academic year.
