Sexual Respect at Stanford News and updates on sexual violence prevention and response

Reporting of Data

Stanford publicly reports campus crime statistics on an annual basis, in compliance with the requirements of the federal Clery Act. The Department of Public Safety collects this anonymous statistical information from a wide range of campus officials defined by the Clery Act. The statistics include reports to campus officials of sexual offenses occurring on campus or at a University-owned or operated facility. The annual report is available here, and a new edition becomes available each fall.

Campus reports on Title IX, sexual harassment cases

Provost Persis Drell in February 2018 issued the first Annual Title IX/Sexual Harassment Report for the campus, providing information about the cases of prohibited sexual conduct brought to the university over the previous academic year – involving students, staff and faculty – and the outcomes of cases during that period. This report followed an interim report on the pilot Student Title IX Process issued in May 2017. These and other reports are available on the Institutional Equity & Access website.
